To all those with loved ones at war: Be strong
To all those who have lost someone because of war: Remember them proudly
To those who have fallen: You will never be forgotten

Drunken night out with welsh lesbians
December 24, 2006 on 12:50 am | In Uncategorized, Nights out | No CommentsWell… the title says it all. A georgeous woman walks into the bar and sits next to me. I am thinking ” woohoo my luck is in!” only to find out that she is interested in women. But these girls are amazing!!! I had a wonderful night with a tonne of laughs and ended up being promised a big night out in Cardiff next year for the World Cup (oh yeah, i have tickets to see Japan and Wales in the rugby world cup next year). To ensure I keep in touch I got their business card and email and phone number. What a wonderful night!!! oh yeah… they paid for the evening as well!!!
Ooops… forgot to transfer that money…Damn banks
December 9, 2006 on 1:47 pm | In Uncategorized, Home | No CommentsI am not generally the most diligent person when it comes to checking bank statements etc… But when I was bored today I thought I would do an audit of my HSBC accounts. To my absolute horror I noticed my credit card account was somewhat higher than I had expected. About 700 pounds higher actually.
The money that was removed from my HSBC Savings account 2 weeks ago has apparently not yet been given to HSBC Credit Cards. Oh yeah… believe me here… It takes 3 days to transfer money between HSBC savings and credit departments…
So I got an apology and a promise that within the next 10 days I should receive a phone call explaining to me why they didn’t transfer my money through.
I shall pay a bit more attention to this in the future….
Bond …. Brilliant!
December 5, 2006 on 12:07 am | In Uncategorized | No CommentsTonight I went to see the latest edition in the Bond franchise: Casino Royale. As a die hard fan I found it difficult to think of Daniel Craig as 007, but I have been gladly proven wrong. He plays this dark side of the man in a brilliant way and for once I have walked away from a Bond film mesmerised by the character instead of the gadgets.
It is not my favourite Bond film though. Over time it may become that but I still see Bond as: gadgets, Q, toys, Q… you get the picture…
Dublin… Wild Windy and Wet… oh yeah and Wallabies
December 1, 2006 on 2:19 pm | In Uncategorized | No CommentsA couple weeks ago I met up with Drew in Ireland for a weekend of Wallaby watching. As there were not that many wallabies about we had to participate in some of the local customs of women watching and Guinness drinking.
And I must say that Guinness tastes amazing when you buy it fresh from the factory. I suppose it is like an earthquake… The further away you are from the epicentre the less an impact it has on you.
Anyway… that pint cost about £8 (ok there was a tour thrown in as well!) but still for something that nice it was worth it. When I get a couple hours to sort out my photos expect to see some on this site!
Keep well…

Angry mobs, pyromaniacs and pyrotechnics
November 5, 2006 on 10:17 pm | In Uncategorized, Travel news, Nights out | 3 CommentsGuy Fawlkes is with us once again and the traditional angry (?) mobs paraded past the front door of my house today. What a sight!!! And what is one to do but grab the flaming torches and join the procession.
And what a great show they put on… There was a 30 minute fireworks show that kept the hordes of flame bearing mobsters entertained and refrained them from torching the town!
Shame it was soooo cold though. Everyone was shivering by the end of it!
Can’t wait for next years one now!
No sex please… they’re British
